3D imaging with cone beam CT (CBCT)
A traditional x-ray gives us a flat picture. A cone beam CT scan gives us a complete 3D view of your jaw, teeth, sinuses, nerves, and bone structure.
For prosthodontic work, especially implants, this matters. We can identify where the bone is strong and where support is limited, map an implant’s path around critical nerves and sinuses, and walk you through the images so you understand what’s happening in your mouth and why we’re recommending a specific approach.
A CBCT scan takes seconds, uses significantly less radiation than a medical CT, and gives us the kind of information that used to require exploratory surgery.
Digital impressions (no more impression trays)
Most patients still remember the goopy impression material, a tray full of putty that you had to hold in your mouth while it set, often triggering a gag reflex along the way.
We've replaced that with a digital intraoral scanner. A small wand captures a precise 3D model of your teeth in a few minutes. The scan is more accurate than a physical impression, which means crowns, veneers, dentures, and restorations fit better the first time.
For patients with strong gag reflexes or dental anxiety, this is often the single biggest comfort upgrade we offer.
CAD/CAM restoration design
Once we have a digital scan, we use computer-aided design software to plan your restoration in three dimensions. We can preview the shape, size, and fit of your crown, veneer, or bridge, and adjust it before anything is fabricated.
This level of planning means fewer surprises during your appointment, fewer adjustments at the end, and a restoration that's been thought through before it ever touches your tooth.

For patients considering veneers, full-mouth restoration, or any significant cosmetic work, digital smile design lets us preview the outcome before any treatment begins.
We capture photos, videos, and scans of your face and smile, then design a proposed new smile digitally. You can see it, react to it, ask for changes, and approve the final direction before we touch a tooth. For some treatments, we can even create a try-in version so you can see and feel the proposed result in your own mouth.
